What People Are Saying

Doug Dochterman

I first met Jeff at our local track in Union SC. After admiring his beautiful car for a few minutes he started telling me about Operation Project Navy Hot Rod. The enthusiasm that he has for bringing Vet’s into the sport, giving them a purpose, a feeling of being part of a team again was immediately obvious. This passion has grown into Armed Forces Racing, opening the door to all branches of the service.

Jeff is also a very tough competitor. He has the Galaxie dialed in. It is a very consistent bracket car capable of running some heads up classes as well. He has a talent for leaving in a footbrake car and should not be taken lightly on the starting line. It is always great to see Jeff and his crew chief Rick at the track.

There are few people you meet in this world that will inspire you. Jeff Lambert has done this for me. The vision and the drive to help his fellow Veterans is why I am proud to display the Armed Forces Racing decals on my car.

Armed Forces Racing holds a special place in our hearts. As we prepared to transition from the military we were looking for what we could do next to give back to other veterans, and reconnect as a family after being constantly deployed over a period of 15 years.

Teaming up with Jeff at Armed Forces Racing brought motivation and purpose to what was a post military family adrift. The relationships and bonds we have formed because of this initial push from Armed Forces Racing has led us to start our own racing team and reach out to even more veterans.
